Customs discontinues AGS for new declarants. All declarations via DMS

Starting today, new declarants will no longer be granted access to the AGS declaration system. Since April 22 of this year, businesses can use the new Customs Declaration Management System (Douaneaangiften Management Systeem, DMS) for all types of declarations, including storage, entry, and exit.

From today onwards, declarants can directly submit declarations in DMS if they have:

• an Electronic Messaging Registration
• an authorisation for deferred payment/monthly credit (DPO authorisation)
